Arapahoe ends its season on a positive note in the ninth week of high school football. Heritage routes the then-undefeated Wheat Ridge Farmers. Littleton losses a close one to Standley Lake. Valor Christian remains undefeated, Cherry Creek squeaks into the Class 5A state championship playoffs with only four wins.

Being indoors, district volleyball action wasn’t affected by the recent winter storm that cut through Denver and surrounding areas.


Colorado School of Mines’ David Pesek has been selected as the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame – Colorado Chapter Player of the Week for games played Oct. 24, as announced two days later by the NFF Colorado Chapter media relations office.

Arapahoe continues to search for a second win on the season after Week 8 of high school football. Heritage blistered Abe Lincoln. Littleton took a home loss, and Valor Christian continued it undefeated season.
