Holiday concerts abound

The menu of concert programs offers something for everyone and taking a few hours to surround oneself with instrumental and or choral music allows the mind and body to relax and enjoy the exceptional talents available to us.
A Messiah Sing Along will bring singers from throughout the area to sing choruses, with musicians of the Colorado Chamber Orchestra and operatic soloists Kara Guggemos, Marcia Ragonetti, Jason Baldwin and Steven Taylor, at 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5895 S. Datura St., Littleton. Handel himself began the tradition of performing this work for philanthropic causes and this event, after 250 years, continues his intent. Bring your own score or some copies will be available. Admission is cash and non-perishable food, which will all go to feed needy area residents through Inter Faith Community Services, Denver Rescue Mission and Grant Avenue Street Reach. 303-794-6379.
The Littleton Chorale will perform “Evergreen Earth Holiday Concerts,” with seasonal music, poetic readings, holiday pageantry... at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5984 S.
