Kids against hunger

South Denver Kiwanis - Kids Against Hunger is sponsoring a two-day food packaging event to feed starving children.
On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., volunteers will be packaging 250,000 meals at 12386 Dumont, Unit 200 in Littleton.
The packages include six nutritionally complete servings for 25 cents each. Meals will be shipped to Haiti, Africa and Denver and distributed Christian World Outreach.
Community members are encouraged to volunteer their time or to donate money. All donations are tax deductable. Make checks payable to South Denver Kiwanis Foundation, note “Kids Against Hunger” in the memo section.
How to help:
Form a team of 12 or more friends, co-workers, church members, club members
Schedule your team to package. There are four-hour and two-hour shifts.
Individual donations accepted: pledge 25 cents per meal
