Jones starts basic training at Air Force Academy
Jonathan F. Jones has entered basic cadet training at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, in preparation to enter the first academic year at the academy. He is the son of Robert and Marcia Jones of Highlands Ranch. Jones is a 2008 graduate of Heritage High School, Littleton.
Vista graduate completes Air Force basic training
U.S. Air Force Airman Jezzika M. Allen graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Susan Sand Jon Allen, of Littleton. Allen is a 2008 graduate of Mountain Vista High School, Highlands Ranch.
Weide enters Air Force cadet training program
Spencer G. Weide has entered basic cadet training at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs in preparation to enter the first academic year at the academy. He is the son of Scott and Meredith Weide, of Highlands Ranch. Weide is a 2009 graduate of Mountain Vista High School, Highlands Ranch.
U.S. Air Force Airman Elyse M. Jones graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Maralee Tiffin, of Highlands Ranch, and Greg Jones of Derby Way, West Jordan, Utah. Jones is a 2009 graduate of Eagle Academy, Highlands Ranch.
U.S. Air Force Airman Bryan R. Vernon graduated Sept. 18 from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base San Antonio, Texas. He is a 10-year resident of Highlands Ranch and graduated in 2003 from ThunderRidge High School.
Coley graduates from Army leadership course
Tammi N. Coley graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. The cadet is a student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the daughter of Robert N. and Young S. Coley, of Lone Tree. Coley is a 2005 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School.

U.S. Air Force Airman Bryan R. Vernon graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Donna Vernon of Highlands Ranch. Vernon is a 2003 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School, Highlands Ranch.
