Closures and weather updates
Highway 86 is currently closed from Kiowa to Limon. Westbound from Kiowa to Franktown the highway is icy in spots and snow-packed. For up-to-date road conditions visit www.cotrip.org.
The Elbert County court house is closed today. Anticipated opening is Oct. 30.

Douglas County courts will be open today by by 10 a.m. as well as Arapaho County and Jefferson County.
All parent teacher conferences and after school activities for Elizabeth C-1 School District are cancelled.
