A passive non-combat form of self defense will be offered by well known instructor Chuck Caldwell. Classes will be forming with a limit of only 8 participants per session so make sure you sign up and reserve your spot. Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. The aikido practitioner "leads" the attacker's momentum using entering and turning movements. The techniques are completed with various throws or locks. Anyone age 14 and up are safe to practice this art.
