Cars stolen, broken into

The Littleton Police Department is investigating a series of crimes involving automobiles.

Police are looking for a car stolen from 7525 S Utica Drive.

The 1996 green Honda Accord was reported stolen around 7 p.m. on June 25.


Police canvassed the neighborhood but many neighbors were not home, or didn’t see or hear anything out of the ordinary.

Police are looking for a car stolen from 1631 W Canal Cir. The car contained two guns and an iPod inside, according to the report.

The 1998 Honda Civic was reported stolen around 7:30 a.m.

The vehicle was locked but there was a spare key inside, according to the police report, along with a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, a Springfield XD9 handgun, and an iPod.

On June 25, police responded to call on trespassing to a vehicle and possible theft but no suspect information was filed.

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz was parked around 10 p.m. on June 24 at an apartment complex at 4615 Mineral Drive, and was reported broken into and two titles were taken from an envelope inside the vehicle.

The vehicle was discovered broken into around 5 p.m. June 25.

The first title was to the 2008 Mercedes-Benz, the second was to a trailer in Buena Vista.

There were no signs of forced entry, the report said, but the doors may have been left accidentally unlocked.

A 2003 Toyota Sienna was broken into and a TV and VHS player, CDs and three months worth of Women, Infant and Children vouchers were stolen on June 25.

Police responded to a call from 4520 Mineral Avenue but there developed no leads or suspects, according to the report.

The car was parked in front of the complex around 8 p.m. on June 24 and was reported broken into at 10 a.m. June 25.

The contents of the glove box were scattered around the front passenger seat and a package that was going to be shipped has been opened.

The car may have been left unlocked.

On June 21 police responded to a report of criminal trespass to a vehicle at 3503 W. Alamo Drive but officers were not able to find any prints for processing. Police are looking for the suspects.

An iPod was stolen from the front seat of a 2003 Toyota Corolla. It was lying in plain view from the outside of the vehicle.

The vehicle was parked in the back garage driveway when the crime occurred but it was moved to the road prior to police arrival, the report said.

On June 21 around 9:40 a.m. police responded to another report of criminal trespassing to a vehicle. The truck may have been unlocked.

A stereo amplifier and two 12-inch sub-woofers in a speaker box were missing, according to the report.

A stereo, and a purse containing $300 in cash, several debit and credit cards and a set of keys were reported stolen from a car parked in a lot at S Hickory Street and West Belleview Avenue, June 19.

No one was present in the parking lot at the time of the crime and no residences are in view of the area.

Littleton police responded to a call on a trespass to a motor vehicle on June 17 but no arrests were made. Nearly $1500 worth of tools were stolen.

Around 3:30 p.m. a Dodge Van was found in the parking lot of Lowes, 5095 S. Santa Fe Drive, with a hole punched in the side door window, the police report said.

Lowes management said their security cameras don’t cover the parking lot.

Bike stolen

On June 20, Littleton Police responded to a call on a burglary of a garage. A $500 blue mini-bike was stolen sometime after 10 p.m. from 628 Briarwood Avenue.

Little information was gathered at the scene.

Nothing else was taken from the garage and there were no signs of forced entry.
