Help make wishes come true through baseball
The Make-A-Wish Wildcats are back at it again and looking forward to another season on the diamond, as well as making yet another child’s wish come true.
The Monument-based Under-12 little league team made headlines last year for helping an abused and neglected child from Denver. The last Make -A-Wish recipient is suffering from muscular dystrophy and confined to a wheel chair. The team is adopting another child this season through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The team is still looking for a couple more players to add to last year’s roster and will be holding tryouts in January and February to fill these final spots.
All interested are urged to contact the team’s manager Dimas Nunez at dnunez@signsolutions.tv. It is a great opportunity to get out and play some baseball, make some friends and most of all make a difference.
