Golden Eagle No. 2 soccer recruit in the nation
Taylor Kemp, a senior defender from Mountain Vista High School, was named in the December issue of ESPN RISE magazine as the No. 2 recruit in the country for the Top 20 Soccer Recruit Class of 2009. Kemp was called in by the Under-20 U.S. Soccer National Team in May to Manchester, England, and by the Under-18 National Team to Uraguay and Argentina in July. Kemp was named to the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy Starting XI Team for 2008.
The Vista senior has verbally committed to play for the 2008 NCAA National Champions University of Maryland in 2009.
