Little Monkey Bizness in Lone Tree is not only fun for young kids, but great for the grown-ups as well.
“It’s an awesome place for moms and dads,” said Lisa Forester, manager of Little Monkey Bizness. Since the business opened 2½ months ago, the word is getting out. “We’ve had comments made by dads who say, ‘I’ll take the kids this Saturday’ as they refer to coming here,” Forester said.
Colorful interactive play structures of all shapes and sizes fill the room along with climbing walls and games.
“We are always paying attention to what the kids like and how we can make it more fun for them,” said Michael Jack, co-owner. “We already have new equipment coming in soon.”
There is a separate section reserved for toddlers, complete with their own play equipment.
The facility also has a comfortable café style seating area that overlooks the 3-4,000 sq ft play area?
Jack and Gragg White bought the “brand new concept” franchise, with the Lone Tree area in mind.
“We liked the family values and it felt like a place you want to be,” Jack White said.
While the little monkey’s are playing in a “clean environment” the adults can order from a full-service coffee bar or have sandwiches made by Udi’s.
“We hear a lot of comments on how clean our facility is,” Forester said.
She and the 21 employees pride themselves on the cleanliness and “strive to accomplish this.”
Healthy snacks are also available for the children, ranging from yogurt to string cheese to fresh baked items.
Pleasantly surprised at the success and support of the community and his employees, Jack said, “Thanks to all the people who have made us feel at home, they have been phenomenal.”
The hours of open play are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.; Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon; and Sunday 9 a.m. to noon. The remaining hours are saved for private parties and special celebrations.
