Fire Station stays put

Special to the News-Press Castle Pines North won’t be getting a new fire station. The Directors of South Metro Fire Rescue decided Nov. 13 to table further discussion of moving Station 36 to a site at Monarch Boulevard and Castle Pines Parkway, under consideration since spring of this year. The station will stay in its current location, just west of I-25 on Castle Pines Parkway.
